Humanity

Art is really an interesting thing because even outside of "trends" if you look close enough it always captures humanity and our collective journey. Photography is relatively new and I think that's something that makes it really special because not only is the human experience changing so fast but so is the technology behind photography. Each year so many advancements are made to cameras but the paintbrush has stayed mostly unchanged for centuries. This is where I think the distinction has to be made and a photographer has to focus on making art not using tools. It's a fine line that often is overlooked.
